NYPD Acquitted in Groom’s Death
Sean Bell, a 23-year-old black man, was killed in a hail of gunfire outside a seedy strip club in Queens on Nov. 25, 2006 — also his wedding day — as he was leaving his bachelor party with two close friends. Three detectives were acquitted of all charges Friday in the 50-shot killing of the unarmed groom to be. A case that put the NYPD at the center of yet another dispute involving allegations of excessive firepower.
Justice Arthur Cooperman delivered the verdict in a Queens courtroom packed with spectators, including victim Sean Bell’s fiancee and parents, and at least 200 people gathered outside the building. The verdict provoked an outpouring of emotions: Bell’s fiancee immediately walked out of the room. His mother cried. Outside the scores of police officers and crowds of supporters and others in rally began weeping, some swearing and screaming “Murderers! Murderers!” or “KKK!” Continue reading ‘NYPD Acquitted in Groom’s Death’

The Ex Wife of rapper, actor Mos Def Alana Wyatt, 29 has penned a tell all book about her whirlwind marriage to Mos, who she married last year.
Description of the book as per Xlibris.com: where you can also purchase the book.
Breaking the Code of Silence chronicles the intense relationship and whirlwind marriage between a young woman and one of Hip-Hop’s most beloved artists. An honest and open memoir, Wyatt tells her story of how her turbulent childhood, difficult teenage years and sometimes not-so-wise decisions aided in her development to become a devoted mother and a strong, independent woman. Controversial and straightforward Breaking the Code of Silence holds no punches as Wyatt reveals how her glamorous lifestyle -envied by many wasn’t always so fabulous. Part biography, part cautionary tale, Wyatt tells her story to educate and inspire others to be independent and remain true to themselves.
The book follows the format of tell alls recently written by Karrine Steffans’ Confessions of a Video Vixen and Carmen Bryant’s It’s No Secret.
My question is who’s next to tell some celebs business for the all might dollar.

Orlando Brown of TV’s That’s So Raven has been missing since early Tuesday morning.
The 20-year-old reportedly left his manager’s house around 10:20 a.m. to make a quick trip to 7-Eleven and has not been seen since. According to Brown’s publicist, Elayne Rivers, he had a full day of meetings and appointments in preparation for a photo shoot Wednesday.
Rivers adds that friends and family are very concerned, as the young actor is not one to be out of touch for long, and the convenience store was within a short walking distance from his manager’s home in Studio City.
Browns friend and manager Ricky Romance has been calling local hospitals, and posting on Myspace for any information. Anyone who might have any information should contact Elayne Rivers at TLToonz@aol.com.

She released a statement that reads:
“Several years ago I made an error in judgment by inviting the media into the most intimate area of my life. A month ago I filed for divorce. The dissolution of a marriage is a difficult time in anyone’s life that requires privacy with one’s thoughts. I have committed myself to handling this situation with dignity and grace and look forward to emerging from this period as a stronger and wiser woman.”
